The Institute for Skill Development (ISD) is an autonomous, self-financed, not-for-profit organisation established under the Private Partnership Model (PPM) to promote skill development, vocational education, and professional excellence across India.
ISD is committed to strengthening the nation’s human resource capacity by providing industry-relevant, skill-based training and certification aimed at improving employability, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance. The institution functions independently and aligns its objectives with the broader goals of national education policy and inclusive socio-economic development.
